Tungsten Tuff

The Tungsten Tuff is designed to be a state-of-the-art semi-off road caravan and is specifically designed to be a sturdy, durable caravan that can cope with just about any road conditions.

Tungsten caravans are cutting-edge caravans that stand out in a number of ways, which is why they’re such a smart investment for caravan enthusiasts.

The main feature of this state of the art caravan is the TIG-welded alloy frame, however, aside from this, other exterior features include Fully Reinforced and Expanded A-Frame featuring Toolbox, Generator Slide, 3-Arm Bumper Bar With Galvanization, Breakaway System, LED Lighting, Two 190-watt Solar Panels, Two 120 Amp Hour Batteries, BM Pro System used for Battery Management, Two 95-Litre Water Tanks and a Grey Water Tank.

The floor and roof are made from a single piece of fibreglass with some of the other interior features including Ibis Air Condition with 4 Reverse Cycle, Dometic 190l Compressor Fridge Freezer , LED Lighting, 22″ LED Television, LED Work Lights with External Remote Bluetooth Radio and CD Player, Water Filter with Separate Tap, Cooker with Three Gas Burners and an Electric, Grill with 12-volt Ignition, 240-volt Hot Water System, Top-Quality Fittings for both the Bathroom and Kitchen.

Tungsten caravans set themselves apart from the other alloy frames that are currently on the market because of the Tungsten Inert Gas welding system. These frames are specifically made to be incredibly resilient.

While it’s not unusual for caravanners to see cracked weld joints, that isn’t an issue with these caravans. The rivets used in many caravans with an alloy frame can fail when the caravan is placed under stress.

This design is beneficial because it makes the caravan more resistant to cracked weld joints. This is a common problem for caravans that are constructed with an alloy frame, in part because they’re usually joined using rivets.

When you combine all the other features and benefits with the Full Box RHS Steel Chassis, it’s hard to find a more durable semi-off road caravan. The range offers floorplans designed for both touring and families with a number of options for those that enjoy travelling.

The main features of the chassis include 6″ Supagal RHS Box Steel Chassis with A-Frame, 3.3-ton shock absorber along with independent coil suspension, 245/75 R16 Off-Road Tyres and Rims 16″ Anodised Alloy Wheels and DO35 Off-Road Hitch With Full Articulation.
